Information Architecture
Observation/problem:
-
IA didn't host content about alumni and their publications
-
After conducting audience research we found out that students are interested in career advice and professional training. There was no such content on the website
-
Although students diversity and student life are key differentiators, this content was not prominently displayed on the site
Solution:
-
Redesign of Information Architecture by subject matter
-
Adding "Alumni" and "Career and Training" to the main navigation
wireframes
Wireframes were designed for key interfaces only
design

The homepage didn't take a advantage of it's real estate by containing call-outs only to a few pages
-
The most relevant content, according to audience research and Google Analytics analysis, was not featured on the homepage
Solution:
-
Redesign of the homepage with prominent call-outs to important content
